Nominations are now open for the Tusk Conservation Awards 2025. Join us as we celebrate 13 years of honouring some of Africa's most dedicated, inspiring and brave conservationists across Africa.
Our respect for nature underpins the future of life on Earth. As a quarter of the planet’s surviving biodiversity is now found within Africa’s landmass, the Tusk Conservation Awards, in partnership with Ninety One, are more important than ever to shine a light on the positive and successful work of conservationists across Africa.
The Tusk Award Judges are once again looking for dedicated, forward-thinking individuals at different career stages with demonstrable impact, whose work has the potential to be replicated across the continent.
Winners will join a prestigious cohort of influential and dynamic Tusk Conservation Awards alumni, receive global recognition for their organisation and secure substantial grants towards their work.
The three award categories are:
Prince William Award for Conservation in Africa: This is a lifetime achievement award that recognises outstanding dedication and exceptional continued contribution to conservation in Africa.
Tusk Award for Conservation in Africa: This award is given to an individual judged to be an inspiring mid-career conservationist in recognition of their outstanding contribution and leadership qualities.
Tusk Wildlife Ranger Award: This award gives international recognition to the dedication and commitment of an individual who works in the field to protect Africa’s wildlife and wild places.
