Alexander is Head of Purpose at Mishcon de Reya, where he provides strategic Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) advice. He was the founding CEO of Stop Ivory and head of the Secretariat to the inter-governmental Elephant Protection Initiative. He joined Tusk’s Board in 2014, and was appointed Chairman in 2020.

Susan is a Research Associate specialising in conservation biology within Oxford University’s Department of Zoology, and the Director of the Tusk-supported Mali Elephant Project (an initiative of WILD Foundation and ICFC). She has been a Trustee since 2014.

Paddy is the Co-founder & Managing Partner of the strategic communications consultancy firm Milltown Partners. Beforehand he was Communications Secretary to The Prince of Wales and his family. He has been a Trustee since 2015.

Beatrice is a strategic communications specialist with over 25 years of experience covering the African continent as both a journalist for the BBC and Reuters and as a communications professional with UNICEF, Oxfam, and the African Wildlife Foundation. Beatrice joined the Board in 2021.

Yamina is a distinguished diplomat who served as the Rwandan High Commissioner to the UK from 2016-2021, where she effectively promoted and strengthened bilateral and multilateral relations. She joined the Board in 2024.

Nick Maughan is a British investor and philanthropist. He was born in 1980 in London, and studied Religion and Theology at the University of Manchester. He gained a master’s in finance at Cass Business School. He has been a Trustee since 2021.

Jill spent her executive career in investment banking, concentrated on M&A and senior roles in Group Strategy. In 2018 she joined the Prudential Regulation Committee of the Bank of England as an External Member. She joined the Tusk Board in 2021.

Businesswoman, investor in sustainable businesses and star of “Dragon’s Den”, Deborah became a Tusk Ambassador in 2010 before joining the Board in 2016.

Jessica is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, runner, facilitator, and multi-passionate creative. A friend and supporter of Tusk since 2017, she has participated in the Lewa Safari Marathon annually, building teams of runners to join her efforts. She joined the Tusk Board in 2024.
