Nick Bubb was appointed Chief Executive of Tusk in January 2024. Prior to taking on this role, he was the Business Development Director at Fauna & Flora International (FFI). He was involved with the organisation from 2012 (initially as an ambassador) until the end of 2023 and his role was focussed on developing new partnerships.

As the founder of Tusk in 1990, Charlie has now spent over three decades in the African conservation sector helping the charity to raise over $150M to invest in its partner projects. In 2024, he handed over the CEO reins to Nick Bubb, but remains in his new role as President.

Dan has worked in wildlife conservation since 2000, covering both Africa and Asia. He previously managed the conservation programmes of the Gorilla Organization and then Elephant Family, before joining Tusk in 2014.

Since 2022, Bernadette has served as US Development Executive for Tusk. She holds a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University and M.A. from Case Western Reserve University. After college, she asked her parents for the graduation gift of an African safari. She didn’t get it, but later in life had that wish fulfilled!
