Tusk’s Turtle Trail, took to the streets of central London over the summer of 2025.  The Turtle Trail, curated by Chris Westbrook of Westbrook Gallery, used creativity, public art and storytelling to raise awareness of the beauty of and threats to all marine turtles.

Marine turtles are the ocean’s ancient mariners: they have been navigating the planet’s seas for over 100 million years.  Yet within a few short decades, their numbers have plummeted, and six of the seven species are now threatened with extinction.

Renowned international artists will design and paint turtle sculptures, which was on public display in the streets of London from July – September 2025. Funds raised through the Turtle Trail will directly support Tusk’s partners’ marine conservation projects in Africa.

The Tusk Turtle Trail’s sculptures were auctioned in Autumn 2025 (date to be released at a later date).
