After just over five weeks at sea, a team of three brothers have completed their challenge of a lifetime, having rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, raising funds for Tusk along the way.

The Ambrose Buoys are Louis (26), Felix (25) and Finn (23) from the New Forest, and on 12th December they set out from the Canary Islands to cross the 3,000 miles to Antigua and Barbuda. They join 42 other teams with rowers from 17 different countries looking to complete the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

The brothers have been inspired to undertake the challenge by their father, who completed the challenge as part of a pair in 2003. Their aim was to beat their father’s time of 59 days, which they did comfortably, crossing the finish line after an incredible 36 days, 2 hours and 41 minutes.

The Ambrose Buoys have raised a phenomenal amount for Tusk as part of the challenge, but are looking to raise even more. If you would like to show your appreciation of their efforts, please head over to their fundraising page here.
